Your trust matters to us.
Plain words about what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you always have.
Last updated: July 2026
The short version
We only collect what you choose to share with us — like your name and email when you sign up to volunteer or hear about events. We use it to follow up with you, and for nothing else. We never sell it. Ask us anytime to see it, fix it, or delete it.
What we collect
When you fill out our Get Involved form, RSVP to an event, or join our newsletter, we ask for things like your name, email, phone number, and neighborhood — only what we need to follow up on your request. Visiting our website does not require an account, and we don't collect personal information from people who just browse.
How we use it
- To reply to your message, RSVP, or volunteer signup.
- To send event news — only if you said yes, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
- To understand our community better — in totals, never as individuals.
We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone outside United Juntos except the basic services that run our website, email, and donations.
Those services are Givebutter (our donation processor, with payments handled by Stripe), Netlify (website hosting and form submissions), and Google Fonts (the lettering on this site).
Photos at our events
Our events are public celebrations, and we take photos to share the joy and to report to our supporters. We post photos with care — especially of children. If a photo includes you or your child and you'd like it taken down or not used, just tell us. We'll remove it, no questions asked.
Donations
Donations are processed by a secure third-party payment provider. We never see or store your card number. United Juntos Corporation is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 39-3124290); your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and you'll receive a receipt for your records.
Children online
Our events welcome whole families, but our website forms are for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their information, tell us and we'll delete it.
Your choices, always
- Ask what information we have about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Unsubscribe from emails with one click, or by writing to us.
